Uniformity is critical for LED screens, which are made up of a large number of individual light-emitting elements that come together to form a single screen. An LED screen with low uniformity will appear noisy and unclear.

What is Uniformity?

Uniformity refers to the consistency of light output across a display or screen. If the light output of these individual lamps is inconsistent, the content across the screen will appear noisy and the screen will not be clean. This change is especially noticeable on large displays, where even minor inconsistencies can be amplified and become more obvious to the viewer.

Why is uniformity important in LED screens?

The reason why uniformity is so important in LED screens is because it's evident in the quality of the screen from the first moment you look at it. A screen with poor uniformity will make your content look very grainy.

Even identical lamps from the same manufacturer will vary in uniformity. Impactrum only sources and uses lamps that are within a certain level of uniformity deviation, so the default uniformity is very high.
- Calibration
LED screens are made up of millions of tiny LEDs, each with a different brightness value. The calibration process ensures that the image is consistent and uniform in color and brightness across the entire display.
- Suppressing color shift
Ensure that color shifts are minimized based on the viewing angle, so that you see a uniform color temperature from any direction on the screen.
